The Richie Rollercoaster
Whether it was the daily parade of tabloid madness or maybe the harmonious combination of married life and motherhood, the Richie Rollercoaster has been derailed. The doe eyed Diva has finally launched The House of Harlow 1960 with co-designer Pascal Mouawad. With the most recent announcement of her second pregnancy, Nicole will venture into the un-treaded textile territories of maternity apparel. Honestly, I think she's the right woman for the job. Richie has grown into a woman that the paparazzi has to respect, because the calmness of her new image demands it. Motherhood has matured her, yet her fashioin insight could possibly lighten the angst surrounding the prego fashion faux paus of elastic waistbands and baby doll tops. We'll keep our fingers crossed.......

Chanel Perspex Briefcase
Chanel Perspex Briefcase
In Paris, Karl Lagerfeld presented a poised, elegant and mostly black take on power suiting for Chanel that included this fantastically witty take on the working gal's briefcase. We hope that it's not just a prop for the catwalk. We're sure someone out there could pull it off in the real world. It's highly functional, after all.
Isn't She Lovely
Like a modern day Diana Ross dressed in cult edge couture, this shoot by Rui Faria for Volt Magazine titled "Eclipse", is a study in monochromatic, slick styling. Fusing extravagant, over the top hair creations with bold, sharp fashion, stylist Cynthia Lawerence-John compliments Faria's vision perfectly.

Designer
RUTHIE DAVIS - "DESIGNER & CREATOR" of THE DAVIS COLLECTION
A Women's Tech Couture Footwear Line
Ruthie Davis is a modernist who loves all things high tech and high fashion. She launched DAVIS by Ruthie Davis, her signature collection of designer women's shoes for Holiday 2005. Taking materials like Titanium, Chrome, Graphite and Carbon Fiber, she shapes these elements into cutting edge, architectural stilettos, wedges, and platforms with sleek and sexy upper patterns.
At REEBOK, Davis was known as a "Cool Hunter" (circa 1997), someone who identifies trends and translates them to consumer products and marketing. As Director of the REEBOK CLASSIC division, she pushed the envelop by launching "Classic Derivatives" which were reinvented, more fashion forward versions of the classic white sneakers that soon became Reeboks hottest selling styles. As Vice President of Design and Marketing at UGG® AUSTRALIA, the East Coast transplant Davis took the California UGG surf brand and turned it into the hottest fashion accessory on all coasts. She repositioned UGG as fashion, added new updated styles and took a marketing strategy that included seeding UGGs on the Hollywood crowd and national advertising campaign in high fashion books like Vogue. The rest is fashion history. As Vice President of Women's Footwear Design and Marketing at TOMMY HILFIGER, Davis saw that junior girls loved the brand, causing her to concept and launch "Tommy Girl Shoes", consisting of fashionable preppy styles for the younger and hipper set.
Now with the creation of her signature Designer Collection, Ruthie Davis is poised to impact the footwear landscape once again.
Davis has an MBA degree in Entrepreneurship from Babson Graduate School of Business and a liberal arts education from Bowdoin College, where she studied English Literature and Visual Arts. She designs her shoes using watercolors.
She lives and works in New York City.

The Watch Watch January 2009
In t he fall of 2006, Milan-based designer and wris twatch aficionado Marco Mavilla designed the first TOYWATCH. A lightweight, oversized plast ic watch, inspired by high design timepieces, TOYWATCH is unexpected, arresting and irreverent. Under the direction of fine-watch collector and TOYWATCH USA CEO, Randy Gordon, TOYWATCH was brought to the USA in the summer of 2006. An anti-luxury statement in a luxury obsessed culture, TOYWATCH has become the "it" wristwatch and the "must-have" item among style influentials and tastemakers. TOYWATCH watches are available at www.toywatchusa.com, and in more than 300 fine stores, including Barney's, Henri Bendel, Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Bloomingdales. Fans of TOYWATCH include Oprah, Madonna, Sienna Miller, Clive Owen, Jessica Alba, Owen Wilson, Uma Thurman and Katie Holmes.
Naked Collection
The Naked Collection offers a watch completely encased in clear plastic. This design reveals the innerworkings of your timepiece. Your Toy Watch wrist candy features an independent second hand, Roman numerals, and a skeleton of stainless steel or rose gold.
Strong Collection
The Strong collection reflects the evolution of TOYWATCH design. The soft geometric lines on this fresh octagonal chronograph feature two counter dials (stopwatch dial and 24 hour military time dial) and a date window. Like many signature TOYWATCH designs, clear plastic is utilized in the design. In The Strong collection, the case is plastic, extends around the wrist and connects with a rubber strap. Other unique design elements include an inner dial ring with the TOYWATCH logo, a bold crown cover and a crown bumper. Dials measure in at 42mm and 37mm in The Strong collection.
Neon Plasteramic Collection
The ever-popular Plasteramic watch goes Neon! These brightly colored ceramic looking watches come two ways: a Chronograph and Date/Time style. The Neon Plasteramic watches glow in colors such as Kryptonite Green, Plutonium Pink, Ultra Violet and Atomic Orange. The Chronograph is available in two additional colors - chic Cobalt Blue and Yellow Submarine. These watches are a must have accessory!
Mother of Pearl Chrono Collection
Feel the light. A classic chronograph with authentic luminescent mother of pearl dials and sparkling crystal markers. Available on ToyWatch's signature acrylic bracelet or colorful and chic leather straps.

HP Firebird 803 dedicated to the Gaming Connoisseur in You
HP introduces its high-end gaming PC - the Firebird 803. As the name suggests, the new PC resembles its predecessor, the HP Blackbird 002. What differentiates it from the former one is its relatively smaller size. This much anticipated gaming rig comes packed with Intel Core 2 Quad CPU, twin NVIDIA GeForce 9800S graphics cards in SLI and 320GB hard drives. Liquid cooling ensures supreme functionality and the external power supply makes this system extremely energy friendly, with consuming 80% less power than other gaming systems. The Firebird 803 will cost you around $2100 when it hits the store shelves next month (tenatively scheduled). A more budget conscious Firebird model sans Blu-ray will be up for grabs for $1800.
